The afterlife has become a courtroom where those who await their final judgment are actually put on trial. This particular trial focuses on Judas Iscariot, more commonly known as the Betrayer of Jesus. In this play, the assumed guilt of Judas is examined as the Purgatorial courtroom calls such witnesses as Saint Peter, Mother Teresa, and Satan himself.
